A Bethlehem woman was injured Saturday morning when she lost control of her car in the pouring rain on Interstate 78 in Allentown and crashed into a concrete barrier, police said. Viviana Russell, 31, was driving west on I-78 at about 7 a.m. and, despite slowing down for the wet highway, slipped into the barrier on the north side of the highway, spun, hit the barrier again, and then slid across three lanes and crashed into the median, state police at Fogelsville said. No other vehicle was involved in the accident.A woman was injured in Allentown late Tuesday when she crashed into a parked car on West Walnut Street in the city. The accident happened in a light rain at 11:20 p.m. in the 700 block of Walnut Street, where the woman, who appeared to be in her 60s, was driving east on the one-way street, witnesses said.
